Mind Maps

Image
" A mind map is a diagram used to visually organise  information. A mind map is hierarchical and shows relationships among pieces of the whole." Mindmaps are useful as they collate all your ideas for a products, the different branches separate these making it easier to make sense of what is needed for products. Here is a hand drawn mind map I made on underwater themed furniture for children: I found making a mind map by hand quite simple and did it fairly quickly. I think if I were making a mind map in the future I would do it by hand. This is a mindmap I made using Powerpoint, I found it very difficult to use this software to make a mind map, it was extremely time consuming and fiddly with the different lines and i dont think i will use this software for this purpose again.

I think when making wire frames I will draw them on paper as i found it easier, being able to rub out mistakes was very ...

Photoshop Moodboard

Image
This is my mood board on interactive media. I made this on Photoshop and found it was quite easy to arrange my photos and resize them, but i found it difficult to navigate the layers. I think Photoshop is the best programme to use to make mood boards, Word is not meant for the use of multiple photos so it was hard to format.

Word moodboard

Here is a moodboard I made about interactive media, using Microsoft Word. It was simple to use Word as I have been using it for many years now and know how to copy and paste, however it was a hassle to move the photos around and arrange them. Overall, I'm pleased with my moodboard but it took more time than it should of due to Word's picture formatting.
